For those who wish to join to us on the Friday, we have the venue from 3:00pm (and we will be there from 3:00pm, though we might be busy setting things up still!) It will be a relaxed afternoon making use of the facilities at Frickley Lake such as the sauna and paddleboards, or the more musically minded can have a play with the various instruments on the stage (there will be a drum kit, guitar, bass and keyboard, but you are welcome to bring your own instruments, too).
You will have to fend for yourselves as far as food is concerned, but there will be a large communal BBQ that you can cook food on, and you are welcome to bring your own BBQs and stoves as long as they don’t touch or damage the grass. If that is not your thing, there are a few local pubs nearby or Battle high street has some takeaways and is about ten minutes drive from the venue.
In the evening, there will be karaoke on the stage (if you have a particular song you’d like to sing, let us know and we’ll make sure we have it available!) Be aware, there won’t be a bar, so please make sure you bring any drinks you might like 🙂
